Hi I’m Megan and I have been in the pet grooming business for over 20 years. I truly enjoy interacting with pet owners and hearing their pet stories. I will always go the extra mile to make my customers happy. I have mastered proper techniques in pet handling and quality haircutting. I am very experienced in grooming “difficult” pets, those that bite, scratch, wiggle, or are otherwise difficult for most groomers to complete, including cats! I pride myself on being patient, gentle, and humane to all the animals I groom. I am very knowledgeable in all types of hair styles and breed-specific clips.

Hi! I’m Joey, and I have been in the pet industry for the past five years. I am one of our main groomers at the Muskegon Location. I have had experience in all departments of Sitting Pretty
including bathing, front desk, and daycare which makes me a well- rounded and educated groomer. My grooming dream in life is to have a day dedicated to grooming goldens.

Hi all! I’m Dustin and I have been working as a groomer for 10 years. I am known for establishing great connections and friendships with my clients and their dogs. I am trained in the handling of difficult animals as well as modern safety and caring procedures. I take great pride in my ability to provide comfort and a joyous experience for your dog. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time at home playing cards and loving on my own animals. I currently own dogs, a bearded dragon, fish, birds and a pig. In the future, I would like to open and run my own kennel, and provide training, grooming, boarding and daycare services.

Hey, I’m Ally! I have been grooming for over 10 years, but I have been in the grooming industry for the a few more than that! I particularly love to groom German Shepherds and poodles. I also will do some overnight boarding for customer dogs at my home where I live with my dogs, cats, and 2 daughters. You’ve probably seen me doing our $5 nail trims on Monday in Muskegon or Thursday in Grand Haven.

Hello, I’m Jenn Klaus. I have been grooming for 15 years. I love what I do and the animals I get to take care of. I started out bathing, and after learning to groom and building my clientele I purchased a business and named it Magnolia’s. I grew a successful business for about 10 years and sold it to Megan in 2022. I am now very happily grooming for Sitting Pretty. Megan and I have been friends for 12 years and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to work for. I’m very well rounded in my knowledge of breeds of dogs and their personalities. I love a Schnauzer pattern, Bichon head, and Doodles! My family and I own 3 Bernese Mountain Dogs (Doug, Amie, and Kelli), a Bernedoodle (Tammy), and an Old English Bulldog (Bruce). I have started breeding Bernese Mountain Dogs and Bernedoodles and love working in that side of the animal world! I also have two cats, Scottish Straights, named Fanny and Midge, and plan to breed them soon.

I am very gentle and calm which helps a lot with the dogs that require a bit more patience. When I am not at work I like spending time with my son, dog, and 3 cats. I also enjoy gardening, hiking, crafting, and baking.

I am calm and patient to help relax nervous or anxious pets. I am an expert in handling and providing quality feline bathing, deshedding, lion clips, and nail trims.
